This calculator has been designed to assist farmers, pellet makers, and stakeholders to calculate the moisture content of biomass. With the help of an empty container, an oven, and a scale you'll be able to measure and adjust the moisture content of your biomass pellets.

Using two simple steps, you can calculate the moisture content of biomass.  In this tool, you'll find a Welcome page that has an example to learn how to use the calculator. If you find out that your feedstock has less moisture content than required for desired application or for optimum processing, you can adjust the moisture content by adding moisture and amount of moisture that needs to be added can be calculated using adjacent "Moisture Adjustment Calculator" sheet.
