Learn about climate-smart seed sourcing and preparing your forest for future conditions during the Pennsylvania Forest Seminar: Climate-Smart Seed Sourcing. Forests provide myriad ecosystem services. Past exploitive practices, pests and diseases, invasive plants, and a changing climate are increasing the need for reforestation and restoration practices that may include tree planting. But for now, success means that the seeds planted are adapted to current conditions and will grow and thrive. However, with a changing climate, we must consider new strategies for current and future conditions.
This event is being offered at no charge to participants, however, if you would like to receive Continuing Education Credits, there may be a fee. If you will be seeking credits for watching this webinar, please select which credits you wish to apply for during registration. In order to receive credits, you must watch the webinar during the live session for which you registered and attend the full session.
