Rozalia Horvath

Rozalia Horvath is an Extension Educator in the Food, Families, and Health unit, based in Centre County, PA. The community-based educational programs she delivers are related to Type 2 diabetes, cooking, healthy lifestyle, cancer prevention, financial literacy for older adults, Alzheimer's disease, and relatives as parents' program. Rozi (pronounced as Rosie) has dual certification as an Adult and Youth Mental Health First Aid instructor. She also supervises volunteers who instruct strength-training programs for older adults and assist with the nutrition workshops. She holds M.A degrees in Cultural and Educational Program Management from Hungary and in Life Span Human Development with an emphasis in Gerontology from Kansas State University.
