Sarah Frame Joins Crops Team in Berks

As a Berks County native, Sarah Frame is excited to join Penn State Extension as an educator to serve agricultural producers and professionals in the Berks County community. Sarah holds two degrees from Penn State, a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Sciences, and a Master of Science in Entomology. During her graduate work, she studied the effects of rotation on pest management, with a focus on slugs.

Prior to joining Penn State Extension, Sarah worked as a crop consultant in southeast Pennsylvania and New Jersey. In addition to regularly scouting crop fields as a consultant, she also helped farmers maintain regulatory compliance as a plan writer. These regulatory plans included Act 38 Nutrient and Odor Management Plans, CAFO permitting documents, and Soil Conservation Plans.
