- In this introductory course, individuals interested in beginning a beef enterprise will be introduced to a variety of topics.
Topics will include nutrition, health, breeds, and marketing. Individuals will have access to Livestock Extension Team members to get unbiased information on starting their own beef enterprise.
New cattle producers or people interested in learning about beef cattle farming.
You will learn the basis of good beef husbandry practices including: how to identify beef breeds, proper nutrition and health management, and marketing.
