Susan is a Water Resources Extension Educator based in Beaver County, serving multiple Pennsylvania counties.

She has experience working with the public to solve their water quality issues related to private water supplies. Specializes in providing education and programs to adults and youth in the areas of private water supplies, pond management and watershed education through on-site workshops, online learning such as webinars and instructional videos, and one-on-one consultation with clientele who contact the county Extension office through phone, email or a walk-in visit.

Susan works with the other members of Extension's Water State Education Team to shape the programming that is provided to share relevant and timely water resources information with clientele around the state. She works with the team to plan, develop, market and evaluate the water programs that are used to reach this goal.

She has been involved in several studies looking at private water supplies across Pennsylvania, including a study of water quality in roadside springs.
