Thievery

Once again, this depends on quality and age of the roots. If you plant sweet corn, worth a dollar or two a dozen and it is often stolen, imagine the attractiveness of a crop worth more than $500 a pound. When planting ginseng, exercise some caution. Plant near your home. Plant near a noisy dog, out of the dog's reach of course. Never tell anyone about your plantation. Do not draw attention to the plantation. Report any thievery to the police immediately.
