- Hello, I'm Dr. Gregory Martin, Poultry Educator with Penn State Extension.

Avian flu, or avian influenza, is a serious disease that affects both wild birds as well as domestic birds.

Even though we haven't seen in here in Pennsylvania, in the Midwest this disease has ravaged the poultry industry to serious losses.

The following videos that we're going to present will help you understand what avian flu is, how to recognize it, and then how to boost your biosecurity regardless of flock size on your farms.

Penn State Extension thinks that this is a vital piece of information for you and that it will help you defend your flocks against this terrible disease.
